Can Scroll read my textbooks?
Yes. Scroll reads textbook PDFs, web-based readers, and your own Notes and Pages documents. Printed handouts work too through Vision OCR. It can explain the material as you scroll or read a chapter aloud for review.
Can I ask it questions while studying?
Yes. Ask (Right ⌘) opens a live voice conversation about what's on screen, so you can have a concept re-explained or check your understanding out loud, and keep the thread open while you work a problem.
Does it work offline for studying?
Yes. Local-only mode runs comprehension on Apple's on-device models and uses the system voice, so you can study with no OpenAI key and no internet — handy in a library, on a plane, or anywhere offline.
Can it go deeper on a hard concept?
Yes. Depth follows your scroll: stop on a tricky passage and Scroll gives the deepest explanation your settings allow. You can also set the style to Deep so the whole walkthrough runs more thorough by default.
